Role Overview

  • Provide specialized hardware / software / network problem diagnosis / resolution for customer’s voice infrastructure.
  • Route physical problems to onsite hands and feet support staff.
  • Coordinate H/W Maintenance activity with 3rd Party for hardware installation, troubleshooting and fixing hardware issues.
  • Provide support to hardware/software/configuration as assigned by Level2 team – Timely closure of incidents. Quality of resolution notes.
  • Logistics movement of spares to various locations.
  • Troubleshoot Voice Mail Server and failover issues.
  • Troubleshoot CUCM, Auto Attendant Problem.
  • Familiar with Cisco Infrastructure and Endpoint Equipment.
  • Meet or exceed current client and team SLA.
  • Keep up-to-date on new technologies and end customer technologies.
  • Keep customer satisfaction high.
  • Reduce system downtime.
  • Analyze critical problems.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and presentation skills. Must be able to quickly identify and resolve network related issues in smallest possible time.
  • Excellent communication skills. Must be able to clearly interact with the customer, understand the requirements and communicate within off-shore team. Must be able to participate and represent the team in Change and Incident management meetings.
  • Able to communicate with the customer and be able to present solutions to customers.
  • Open for 24×7 availability.
  • CCNA-Collaboration will be extra advantage.
  • Minimum 5-10 Years of Experience in Implementing, Upgrading and configuring Complex Cisco IPT solutions with Cisco Call Manager (CUCM) clusters, Cisco Unity Connection and Voice Gateways/Gatekeepers. Hands on experience on enterprise class of IP Telephony, IP Phones, Jabbers etc.
  • Should have good knowledge of ITIL Processes awareness.
  • Possess outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Should have experience on Endpoints, including ATA & VGs.
  • Handling tickets / requests – Troubleshooting technical issues of Cisco IPT environment.
  • Monitoring and maintaining SLA requirements.
  • Ensure to maintain SLA for vendor management.
  • Planning Backup/Restoration Strategy for 24x7x365 operation support.
  • Testing / processes as required from time to time.
  • Perform H/W & performance testing and maintenance for all IPT devices.
  • Troubleshooting in Voice Mail Server and failover.
  • Troubleshooting on CUCM, Auto Attendant.
  • Required maintenance of all Cisco equipment including patching, upgrades.
  • Experience in expressway(C/E) troubleshooting & installation.
  • Personal dedication to providing high quality, superior service at all times. Ability to finish what is started is a must.
  • Ability to integrate as a cross-functional, team player in a fast-paced environment where all information is shared.
  • Ability to learn new information quickly and the willingness to do so at all times.
