Overview:
- As a Senior Project/Program Manager specializing in Maintenance Management Products, you will play a critical role in overseeing and driving the successful execution of projects and programs related to maintenance management software products, such as ProCal.
- You will collaborate closely with the Acceleration Program, vendor management teams, local teams, and various stakeholders to ensure efficient coordination, smooth project delivery, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project and Program Management:
◦ Lead end-to-end project management for maintenance management product initiatives, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, and budget.
◦ Develop and maintain detailed project plans, outlining tasks, milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements.
◦ Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies. - Vendor Management:
◦ Collaborate with vendor management teams to establish and maintain strong partnerships with external vendors and suppliers.
◦ Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. - Acceleration Program Collaboration:
◦ Work closely with the DMMD Acceleration Program team to align project goals with strategic business objectives.
◦ Participate in regular program meetings, providing updates on project status, challenges, and opportunities. - Local Team and Vendor Coordination:
◦ Coordinate activities between cross-functional local teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of projects.
◦ Foster effective communication and collaboration to optimize project outcomes. - Collaboration with Product Manager, Orchestration Lead and Product Line Lead:
◦ Engage with the Product Manager, Orchestration Lead and Product Line Lead to ensure alignment of project initiatives with product strategies and roadmaps.
◦ Provide input and insights into product enhancements and improvements based on project experiences. - Stakeholder Communication:
◦ Act as a primary point of contact for project updates, progress reports, and issue resolution for both internal and external stakeholders.
◦ Prepare and deliver clear and concise communication, tailored to various audiences, to ensure transparency and alignment. - Travel and Flexibility:
◦ Willingness to travel as needed to facilitate in-person meetings, site visits, and project-related activities. - Team Leadership and Mentorship:
◦ Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
◦ Facilitate knowledge sharing, best practices, and lessons learned across teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and programs related to maintenance management products or software solutions.
- Strong experience in vendor management and external partner collaboration.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and work collaboratively in a matrixed environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
- Willingness to travel based on project needs.
