Skills and Experience:

• a Master degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Civil Engineering or similar.
• 5-10 years experience in integration testing activities on multi platform & complex environments (multi sites).
• ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software testing.
• Experience in working with Agile lifecycle.
• Familiarity with testing tools (HP ALM, TFS, Selenium…).
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience in automation is a plus (to help setting up regression packs).
• If possible, experience in the financial industry, knowledge of trade settlements and the terms/terminology used.
• You are fluent in English.
• Strong analytical mind-set with the ability to extract relevant information from documentation, system data, clients and colleagues and analyse the gathered information.
• Excellent knowledge of the Complete Test Life Cycle and Defect Management.
• Comes up with ideas / improvements that will help drive efficiency across the team.
• Confidence to challenge/question requirements and design approach.
• Reviewing of team members deliverables to ensure completeness, suitability and accuracy of test specification and contribution to reporting.
• Identify and escalate risks and issues proposing associated mitigating actions considering the criticality of the domain of the underlying business.
• Team collaboration and motivation, especially during high pressured periods. 
• Ability to facilitate discussion, extracting information to devise test approach and risk/issue mitigation.
• Flexible in approach to cope with changing priorities. Build (self and team) relationships with project stakeholders, communicating both out and into the team.
• Willingness to go the extra mile, understanding the nuances and details of the project and bring hands on to support team. Must be able to step up to help the team achieve their objectives.
• Willingness to support Tribe Test Engineer and project work (manual/automation) when required.

Responsibilities:

• Be able to understand Functional and Technical documentation and design corresponding test products (test approach, test cases, test data…).
• Perform cross-squads/teams testing activities (integration of Digital Channel assets with testers of other Squads).
• Review and ensure the quality and testability of the acceptance criteria present in the Backlog.
• Write test approaches, test plans and create / execute test cases for the product (Feature and PBI) – perform peer review.
• Contribute to test automation on applications under squad responsibility.
• Excellent Defect Management Skills. Be able to challenge other teams / perform analysis where required.
• Be able to report progress on testing accurately.
• Train the team, provide technical and functional support when needed to team and stakeholders.
• Accountable for the quality of test artefacts produced.
• Problem solving/solutions driven mindset – Use knowledge to identify and implement solutions to address any pain points.
• Think outside the box, bringing new ideas to the table and recommend changes that help the Team and Organisation.
